What does ELM Bookkeeping Pro do?+
We provide professional bookkeeping, payroll support, accounts payable / receivable, and monthly financial reporting for small businesses. Every client also gets access to our proprietary ELM Data Entry software (when released) to streamline daily bookkeeping tasks.
How do I get started?+
Start with a free consultation through our Contact page. We'll learn about your business, review your current books if any, and send a transparent flat-rate quote within one business day.
Do you work with my industry?+
We work with most small business industries — cafes, contractors, e-commerce shops, agencies, nonprofits, and service providers. If your books look like books, we can probably help.
How is pricing structured?+
Flat-rate monthly pricing — no surprise hourly invoices. The tier you choose is based on your transaction volume and the services you need. We review your plan quarterly and adjust up or down as your business changes.
Are there long-term contracts?+
No. Service is month-to-month with 30 days' notice to cancel.
What if my transaction volume fluctuates?+
We review volume quarterly and right-size your plan — you'll never pay for capacity you don't use.
Do I need to use QuickBooks or Xero?+
Yes — we work natively on QuickBooks Online and Xero. We'll help migrate you for free if you're on something else.
What is the ELM Data Entry App?+
It's our in-house bookkeeping software currently in development. When released, it will help streamline receipt capture, expense tracking, mileage logging, and communication with your bookkeeper.
Is my financial data secure?+
Yes. We use TLS encryption in transit, restricted database access, and scoped session tokens. We never sell your data.
Do you file taxes?+
We do not file taxes ourselves. We partner with vetted CPAs and deliver tax-ready packets at year-end (or quarterly, if needed).
Can you clean up old / messy books?+
Absolutely. We offer flat-rate catch-up and clean-up engagements before starting monthly service. We'll quote it upfront after a short discovery call.
Do you handle payroll?+
Yes. We support full-service payroll via Gusto and ADP, including tax filings, direct deposit, and year-end W-2 / 1099 preparation.
